There’s a class for everyone – ANY fitness level is welcomed and encouraged to participate in one of these classes!


BTS (Body Training Systems) Class Descriptions:

Body Training Systems’ (BTS) mission is quite simple: to get more people moving! BTS is a team of 70 professionals with over 30 years industry experience dedicated to one goal – your success – and we pursue that success with spirit and passion. BTS has a series of group fitness programs that are carefully designed to deliver a simple, fun and effective social exercise experience independent of barriers like gender, age or fitness level. Group Power®, Group Kick®, Group Ride™, Group Centergy®, Group Step®, Group Groove® and Group Active® are the new fitness phenomenons. All of Total Balance’s BTS instructors have been trained and certified in the following formats to deliver fun, safe and effective work-outs for you!

Cardio Burn: This interval training workout will keep you in your fat burning zone for HOURS after you leave the gym. It's a revolutionary cardio workout that's done on any type of cardio equipment in our Cardio Room.

CardioFire: HIT (High Intensity Training) is the latest, most effective work-out in the fitness industry. We combine a little of P90X, Insanity, and Turbo Fire into one condensed 20 minute burst of activity. CardioFire will channel your inner athlete and take you through a high intensity cardio work-out that will incinerate your metabolism. ANY fitness level is welcome to attend as options will be shown. This is a drill based format so if grapevines and mambos are not your thing, CardioFire is for you! For an added metabolic boost, stay for Super Sculpt, a varied strength training work-out, afterwards!

Cut to the Core: Core training is so much more than doing hundreds of crunches! To build a strong core, you need to exercise a variety of muscles from your hips to your shoulders. We will be doing anything BUT traditional crunches in this class! Join us for a 25 minute work-out dedicated to strengthening those precious core muscles using a variety of equipment and exercises. Strong core = improved posture, reduced back pain, improved athletic performance and daily life activities. Woohoo!

Forever Fit: This gentle, fun class is for everyone who wishes to stay fit forever. Come swing to some of your favorite old tunes and receive a low impact workout at the same time. Each work-out will be different; we incorporate the platform bench, weights, bands, balls, and just about any other piece of equipment that we think will challenge your strength, cardio, balance and mental focus! Several options will be given so we can accommodate ANY fitness level!

Super Sculpt: 'Muscle Confusion' work-outs are also one of the top fitness industry trends. Super Sculpt is just that. You will never do the same work-out twice so that your body does not become 'comfortable' and therefore reach a plateau. This is a great strength training class for the athlete or the beginning participant. We will lead you through a total body efficient and effective workout in just 35 – 40 minutes. Each class will use a variety of equipment and keep you engaged to the very last rep.

Weight Room Circuit Challenge: Not comfortable in the group fitness room or just looking for a change in your work-out? This 30 minute strength and core training class is held in our weight room. Work through 45 second stations alternating between strength moves such as jumping jacks, jump rope or biking and strength machines. Become more confident on our strength equipment lead by an instructor who is there to support, motivate and coach you all along the way.

Yoga: (Yoga mats are recommended)

All Levels Yoga: This class focuses on basic classical yoga postures, alignment principles and breathing techniques. Whether you are brand new to Yoga or well on your journey, we will meet you where you are and leave you feeling rejuvenated, elongated, and most definitely centered.

Chair Yoga: A gentle chair-based Yoga class for our seniors, those new to exercise and/or those who suffer from chronic back or wrist issues. Yoga based stretching and breathing will stretch and strengthen your muscles as well as improve your balance. Enjoy a light neck rub at the end.

Power Yoga: Typical gym members are likely to avoid yoga classes because they believe they will gain more from their traditional work-outs. They think of yoga as a simple stress reliever or a spiritual practice that has very little to do with exercise or toning their bodies. This, of course, is not the case. While yoga can help you reduce stress and clear your mind, it can also enable you to build strength, increase flexibility, and tone your muscles in ways that other exercise cannot. Whether you are new to Yoga or a seasoned veteran, we invite you to experience Power Yoga for a mind, body and spirit transformation!



  • Every class is designed for all fitness levels. If you feel your level has not been taken into consideration, please make us aware.
  • Class size will be monitored for participation. If the class size is three or less for a month, we will hold the right to cancel that class.
  • Cards are handed out for Group Power and Group Kick classes on a first come first served basis 30 minutes prior to class.
